"I came to DUCKFAT French restaurant in Brisbane for my birthday! The service was perfect, the waiters were very attentive and very professional. I have rarely seen service like that and I really appreciated it. As for the food, the foie gras was delicious accompanied by toast and fig jam. The wagyu steak was cooked to perfection and the pepper sauce was excellent. And finally, the wines come mainly from France. They are delicious but above all well advised according to your tastes. I will definitely come back"!

"Fantastic experience with even better wait staff! We enjoyed escargot, scallops, beef, and duck dishes. After just returning from Paris and Lyon, these dishes did not disappoint and reminded us of France. All the wait staff were exceptional. Very attentive and kept replacing our bread until there were no more juices to mop up. Thank you!! Such a good addition to Newstead."

Our function rooms in Brisbane include a stylish indoor venue, an elegant outdoor courtyard, and an outdoor area catering for up to 80 guests.
DUCKFAT offers a range of catering options to suit any event, including entrée canapés, main banquet, and dessert canapés with indulgent treats. Guests can also choose from cocktail packages, including petit and grand options, and beverage packages offering a curated selection of wines and beers for a seamless event experience.
Our versatile function spaces include the courtyard, indoor, and outdoor areas—perfect for celebrations of all sizes. Individually, they cater comfortably for up to 50 guests outdoors, 45 indoors, or 30 in the courtyard, and can combine to accommodate larger groups of up to 110 guests.
